How to use the Ontario Lesson Plan

The Ontario Lesson Plan writes a three-part lesson (Minds On / Action / Consolidation) with overall and specific expectations, learning goals, success criteria, Achievement Chart evidence and differentiated instruction.

Step by step

1. Enter the topic, subject and grade.
2. Set the lesson length — the three phases will sum to it.
3. Press ✨ Generate.
4. Check the expectations against your grade's curriculum document before teaching.

Tips

• 💡 Learning goals start "We are learning to"; success criteria start "I can" — exactly as Ontario expects.
