🛡️ Privacy Policy

Teacher Toolkit is built and run by one person. This page explains, in plain language, what data the site handles. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run accounts and fair-use limits, we never sell data, and we ask you not to put students' personal details into the tools — they aren't needed to make great materials.

👤 Account data

If you register, we store:

• Your name and email address
• A cryptographic hash of your password (we cannot see the password itself)
• Whether you ticked the optional newsletter box — untick it any time by emailing us
• Email-verification and password-reset tokens while they are valid
• Daily usage counts (how many generations you ran today) — used only to apply the free-plan limits fairly

📚 Your library

Materials you choose to save are stored in your private library so you can reuse and reprint them. They're visible only to you, and you can delete them at any time. Materials you don't save are not kept.

🤖 The AI tools — and student data

When you use an AI tool, the text you type (topic, grade level, instructions) is sent to our third-party AI model provider to generate the material, and is handled under their privacy terms. Please don't include students' full names, ID numbers, grades, health or family information in prompts. Worksheets and certificates work just as well with first names or initials added by hand after printing. The site is a tool for educators — protecting your students' data starts with what gets typed in.

💳 Payments

Supporter subscriptions are processed by Payhip, our payment provider and merchant of record. Your card details go directly to them and never touch this site — we only receive your name, email, and subscription status so we can unlock your account. Payhip's own privacy terms cover how they handle your payment information.

🍪 Cookies

One session cookie keeps you logged in. No advertising networks, no third-party trackers, no analytics cookies.

✉️ Email

We send verification and password-reset emails, plus the newsletter only if you opted in. Unsubscribe by replying to any newsletter or emailing us.

🗑️ Deletion & your rights

Email contact@teacher-toolkit.com from your account address and we'll delete your account, library, and data — or send you a copy of what we hold. Cancel an active subscription first using the link in your Payhip receipt email.

🧒 Children

Teacher Toolkit is for educators and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

✏️ Changes
